How Do I Share Screen on Google Meet?

Whether you’re using the mobile app or through a web browser, we’re going to show you how you can share screen on Google Meet using both methods.

Using a Web Browser

  • During your active video conference meeting, click on “Present Meeting” which is located at the bottom right corner of the screen.
  • You have to choose whether you want to share your “entire screen”, “a specific window”, or “a specific Chrome tab”. You have to select the one you want.
  • When you’re done, just click on the Blue button located at the top left corner of the screen that says “Stop”. Or you can click on the screen that says “click here to return to the video call when you’re ready to stop presenting”.
  • After that, you’ll now be redirected back to the Google Meet window.
  • Then you have to click on the Green button that says “Stop presenting”.

Using the Mobile App

For iPad/iPhone:

  • Open the Google Meet Mobile app and join or start a meeting.
  • You’ll see a 3-dot menu option located at the top right corner. Just click on it.
  • Click on “Start Broadcast” to start sharing your screen with everyone in the meeting.
  • When you’re done, click on “Stop Broadcast” or you can tap on the Red button located at the top of the screen, and tap “Stop”.

For Android Device:

  • Once you open the Google Meet app and you’re already in a meeting, click on the “Viewfinder” option.
  • You’ll see a 3-dot menu option located at the top right corner. Just click on it.
  • Then click on “Present screen” and select “Start now”.
  • When you’re done with the screen sharing, just click on the Green button that says “Stop presenting”.
