How To Activate Facebook Messenger Ephemeral Mode
Before you can activate Facebook Messenger ephemeral mode, you need to make sure your app is updated. If not, you need to try as much as possible to update it on your app store.
Once you have your Facebook Messenger app updated, you can now be able to activate and send ephemeral messages. See steps below:
- First, open a chat conversation
- Click on the hourglass icon at the top right side
- After that, your message status bar will automatically turn dark blue
- You can now type your message and click on the sent button.
Note: Once you do this, your message will automatically be deleted an hour after you’ve sent it. So, therefore, there’ll always be an icon reminder which allows your contact you sent the message to know the time duration before the message will disappear.
